Welcome to the South Waikato
District Libraries Official Website

The Kiwanis Summer Reading Programme is sponsored each summer by the
'
Kiwanis Club of Tokoroa' for the children of the South Waikato District,
and is open to all children from 4 to 11 years.

This programme is an incentive based reading programme that promotes books and reading.  Each child receives a folder to record their reading and incentives for each report-in.

Enrolments start from 24 November 2008 and you must come into your local library to enrol.

Report-ins begin on 8 December.  At least one report-in must be made before 19 December or your place in the programme will go to another child.

The programme ends on 17 January, the finale party will be held on Friday, 23 January 2009.

At the finale party each child receives a book, medallion and a certificate, and this years entertainment will be Cherry the Clown.

We ask you to consider carefully your commitments over the holidays as we will expect your child to complete the full four report-ins.
